We make every effort to make registration as painless as possible, but understand that registration can be somewhat complicated, especially for "first timers" to WASA. Browse through the help topics here and if you're still unsure, send us an email.
You can register 3 different ways and the cost is the same for each option.
- Online Registration - With this option you will be directed to the website of our online registration provider, Blue Sombrero. The first time on Blue Sombrero you will need to create an account and add your children as "participants". You can then register your children and pay with a credit card. No need to submit anything else and you should get a confirmation email from Blue Sombrero.
- Typeable PDF Registration Form - With this option you fill out the WASA PDF registration form using your keyboard and mouse and pay with a check. You MUST print the completed form and return the form and check to WASA via postal mail, at walk-up registration or drop in the WASA drop box at the Westerville Recreation Center.
- PDF Registration Form - With this option you print the WASA PDF registration form, manually fill it out and pay with a check. Return the completed form and check to WASA via postal mail, at walk-up registration or drop in the WASA drop box at the Westerville Recreation Center.
Even if you choose online registration, you may want to print the PDF registration form and keep it handy. The registration form contains a lot of important information, such as important dates, contact information, etc.
When registering your child(ren), you will need to select the proper age-group league. For all leagues except the High School league, the criteria for selecting the proper league is based on your child's birth date. You can use the birth date range table or our age group calculator to determine the proper league. Note that the birth date range table can also be found on our PDF registration form.
WASA knows that "stuff happens" and you may need to withdraw a child from the league prior to the actual season starting. To get your refund, send a letter to the following address. Make sure you include where to mail the refund and sign the letter.

Note that refunds are processed at the end of the year, we don't refund any late fees and if you signed up online, we'll subtract a credit card transaction fee (about $3.00) for each child withdrawn.
